”Paris On The Prairie”

Directed by Roderick Philipp

“Paris On The Prairie” was one of the first video productions I directed for RSVP Gallery. The objective of the video was to promote RSVP’s new clothing collection of the same name. Inspired by Chicago history, in 1909, architect Daniel Burnham, prepared “The Plan of Chicago”, which laid out plans for the future of the city. Here he took design inspiration from the famous French City & coined Chicago the Paris on the Prairie. Not only this, but the stores name is also French, “Répondez S'il vous plaît”. I wanted to create a playful short story about going into and enjoying the city that Burnham helped create. All to the beat of classic french music.
